The Clubhouse

In 1948, five years after 1. FC Köln was founded, the clubhouse was built in Berrenrather Straße in the middle of the Cologne green belt. The club owes its name to the mascot of the Bundesliga club, the Billy Goat.
Having undergone several reconstruction and extension phases, the Geißbockheim is now one of the best looking venues in Germany.

The wonderful view from the stands of the green belt and the training ground used by the professional players attracts visitors with an interest in football and also those seeking tranquillity.
Guests to the Geißbockheim are greeted by a considerable level of footballing history, a cultivated atmosphere, good gastronomy and attentive service.
