Defensive player comes from Hoffenheim

Tobias Strobl is pleased with his move to Cologne:

Tobias Strobl switched from TSV 1860 Munich to TSG Hoffenheim at the beginning of the 2011/12 season. Prior to this, he had passed through the entire youth section of 1860 Munich. The 1.86 metres tall defensive player attended the training sessions of Hoffenheim's first team regularly and debuted on the 21st matchday of the previous Bundesliga campaign in the away game at Werder Bremen (1-1). In the German national cup competition DFB-Pokal he was part of the starting eleven in Hoffenheim's quarter finals versus SpVgg Greuther Fürth (0-1). In addition to that, he was skipper of the club's fourth division team in which he appeared in 26 league matches (5 goals).
